Right now almost every day is open, so your child can start straight away. Only daytime care on Thursday is tight in the baby group and the mixed-age group; in the baby group that also goes for Tuesday, and in the mixed-age group for Friday. Three places or fewer are left on those days. Evenings, nights and weekends are open in all three groups. Yes. Jane’s Bond in Scheveningen offers night care from 00:00 to 06:00, seven days a week, for children from nought to four. That is rare in The Hague; most parents looking for night care end up with a childminder. Which is exactly why there is almost always room with us in those hours.
Yes, on Saturday and Sunday. We are open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. At the weekend all three groups have immediate room, simply because fewer families apply. Useful if you work in healthcare, hospitality, aviation or the police.
The number of places is tied to the number of qualified staff: Dutch law sets a fixed ratio between staff member and child. That is why weekday daytime care is scarce across the whole of The Hague. We recruit continuously, and every new colleague means extra places.
No. Registering is free and without obligation. You commit to nothing. If you want to come off the list later, an email to info@janesbond.nl is enough and there are no costs. You do lose your spot on the list.
Yes, at Jane’s Bond brothers and sisters get priority on the waiting list.
From nought. The baby group (babygroep) is for children from nought to one and a half, the mixed-age group (verticale groep) for one and a half to four, and the toddler plus group (peuterplusgroep) for three to four. Our rates differ per time block.
Our centre is at Prins Willemstraat 21 in Scheveningen, with Duindorp, Belgisch Park, Statenkwartier, Archipelbuurt and Zeeheldenkwartier as the surrounding neighbourhoods. The evening, night and weekend care is there for the whole of The Hague, because almost no other childcare offers those hours.
